Auxiliary Service Market Model Considering the Participation of Pumped-Storage Power Stations in Peak Shaving

In the context of insufficient system operation flexibility and increasing peaking pressure caused by large-scale integration renewable energy into grid, a market model for auxiliary services involving pumped storage power stations is proposed in this study. First, taking minimum peak shaving cost as optimization goal, value participating units quantified, mathematical service established. Then, considering that pumped-storage station has both source-load characteristics, peak-shaving deeply excavated to share thermal units, compensation mechanism ancillary fees Finally, 11-machine, 14-node topology simulate study, effectiveness method verified.
